Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Benchino mobile application and related services. By creating an account, accessing Benchino, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using Benchino
You may use Benchino only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You are responsible for your activity and for maintaining the security of your account.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless caused by circumstances outside your reasonable control.
3. User-Generated Content
Benchino allows users to contribute content, which may include bench locations, descriptions, photographs, memories, comments, reports, and other materials.
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, or abusive.
- Contains sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise seriously objectionable material.
- Violates another person's privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights.
- Contains malware, spam, deceptive links, or attempts to interfere with the service.
- Intentionally provides false or dangerous location information.
- Encourages unlawful activity or creates a foreseeable safety risk.
4. Rights to Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content to Benchino, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, moderate, and promote the Benchino service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and to grant this license.
5. Community Safety and Moderation
We may review, restrict, remove, or disable access to content or accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our community-safety requirements. Users may report content through available in-app reporting tools or by contacting support.
Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of an account.
6. Location and Map Information
Bench locations, addresses, map information, directions, distance estimates, accessibility information, and other geographic information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or submitted by other users.
Always use your own judgment and obey local signs, restrictions, private-property rules, traffic laws, and safety guidance. Benchino should not be relied upon for emergency, safety-critical, or professional navigation.
7. Intellectual Property
Benchino, including its branding, software, interface, original graphics, and other non-user content, is owned by or licensed to the Benchino developer and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
8. Third-Party Services
Benchino may use or link to third-party services such as maps, authentication, hosting, storage, navigation applications, or external websites. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Availability and Changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Benchino is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Benchino developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on user-submitted content, location information, third-party services, or unavailable features.
12. Account Termination
You may stop using Benchino at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or protect the service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
